Mental Health Impact of Climate Change on Children and Young People
28 January, 4pm – 5.30pm.
UNISON College is delighted to kickstart this year of green activity with a valuable learning opportunity for UNISON members working in education and across the public services. We will be hosting a webinar featuring guest speaker Caroline Hickman, a psychotherapist and lecturer at the University of Bath, widely recognised for her research into how children and young people experience and respond to climate change.
During the session, we will explore the psychological impact of climate change on children and young people and those who support and care for them and gain practical insights and tools to support young people navigating ecological distress.
